Lindsey Talley was the table-setter for Louisa County’s softball team this spring.

The first-team, Conference 23 selection will continue her athletic career next year at Bridgewater College.

Talley turned in another solid season for the Lions, serving as the unquestioned leader of the team.

The outfielder batted .343 with a team-high 23 hits and 16 runs scored. She drove in three runs and stole a team-high 23 bases to finish her career among the top players in that category.

“I’m very honored to be able to play in college,” Talley said. “It means a lot to me.”

Talley visited the campus near Harrisonburg earlier this year and fell in love right away.
