Candidates’ forum

We believe our community should be informed about issues that can have a real impact on their daily lives.  Choosing the right candidate to represent you is one of those things that are important and that is why we are partnering with the Louisa County Chamber of Commerce to host a Candidates’ Forum at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 29 at the Louisa Arts Center.

This is your opportunity to learn more about the candidates who are running for office and want to represent you. They will be given a few minutes to talk about themselves, tell you why they are running and talk to you about where they stand on certain issues.

In the two local races where more than one candidate is vying for your vote, the Green Springs district school board and Mineral district board of supervisors races, candidates will participate in a debate format.

To make sure that get the answers to the questions you think are most important to help you decide which button to push on Tues., Nov. 5, submit questions to the school board and board of supervisors candidates in advance of the forum to louisacountycandidatesforum@gmail.com.

Send us your questions now and be sure to come out and hear what the candidates have to say!
