Sunday, Nov. 17

New Line Baptist Church will celebrate its Men and Women’s Day at 3 p.m. with guest preacher the Rev. Tommy Fleming,  pastor of  Emmaus Baptist Church, Goochland. The Thessalonia Baptist Church will observe Men and Women’s Day at 3:00 p.m.  The Rev. Charles Booker, associate minister, of New Fork Baptist Church, Palmyra, will be the guest speaker.  The Brooks Family will render the music.  The church is located at 278 Old County Rd., Mineral.

 

Ebenezer Baptist Church of Mineral will have Family and Friends Day beginning at 3:00 p.m. The pastor of Mt. Hope Baptist Church, Reverend Dr. Monroe Smith, will be the guest speaker and his church family will be the guest for this occasion. Lunch will be served at 1:30 p.m. The church is located at 109 Pendleton Road, Mineral.

 

Wednesday, Nov. 20

The women at Louisa Baptist Church will begin a new study series on “The Circle Maker” by Mark Batterson at 6:30 p.m. Learn how to claim God-given promises, pursue God-sized dreams and seize God-ordained opportunities and, through it all, bring glory to God.  Big prayers yield bigger results. The church is located at 305 East Main St., Louisa.

 

Sunday, Nov. 24

South Anna Baptist Church will welcome Don Crane, associate church enrichment missionary for the central east region of the Southern Baptist Conservatives of Virginia, as guest speaker to kick-off the Lottie Moon giving season. Worship begins at 11 a.m. and will be followed by a fellowship Lunch will be served following the service.  The church is located at 9071 Cross County Rd., Mineral.

 

Wayland Baptist Church will welcome Minister Sheila Thurston, of Peach Groove Baptist Church, as guest speaker for the 11 a.m. worship service. The church is located at 1228 Oakland Rd., Louisa.

 

Glenora Baptist Church will hold its Thanksgiving program at 10 a.m. followed by the children’s presentation of “Attitude of Gratitude.”  The church is located at 1389 Zachary Taylor Hwy., Mineral. For more information, call (540) 894-5718.

 

Wednesday, Nov. 27

St. Thomas Baptist, Watchtower Baptist and Union Baptist churches will hold a combined Thanksgiving worship service at 7:30 p.m. at Union Baptist Church, 16230 Union Church Rd., Beaverdam. For more information, call (804) 449-6779.
