Giving Thanks

As Thanksgiving approaches, we pause to remember what we are grateful for throughout the year.  Here at The Central Virginian, we are thankful for many things.

We are thankful of our co-workers whom we depend upon to get the newspaper out each week, our families who put up with our crazy lives, our advertisers who support us and our readers who rely on us to give them the  news about what is going on in their community.

Without these four groups of people, we wouldn’t be able to do what we do. From the front desk to the back desk, the staff at The CV is committed to providing a quality product for readers and advertisers.

We stay out late at night and work on the weekends just to make sure that we bring you the news you need to know. Our sales representatives and ad designers care about the quality of your advertising and want to ensure that it works for you.

Our classified team wants to make sure that they are doing the best for you when you want to sell or rent a house, are searching for a new employee or a new car and want to help you draw crowds to your yard sale.

We are here for you 52 weeks a year and are glad that you all are here for us. In this community, we can truthfully say that we really are all one big family.

So, as we sit down to enjoy our turkey with all the fixings on Thursday, think about all the things you are thankful for.  Happy Thanksgiving from The CV!
