On Thursday, Nov. 21, the Lions held their first home game in three years, as they took on FUQUA at Louisa’s new home, the gymnasium behind Louisa County Middle School.
“It was pretty exciting to be back here playing the game and getting the chance to play home basketball,” head coach Brian Wilson said. “We love to play basketball, and it’s even better to do it here.”
In the scrimmage, the two teams faced off for five quarters, with FUQUA taking the first three and Louisa taking the last two.
Louisa’s regular season begins with a home game versus Culpeper County on Wednesday, Dec. 4 at 7:30 p.m.
