Sunday, Dec. 1
Apostle C. Manuel Gonzalez, pastor of Last Days Voice Ministries International, of Richmond, will minister at Kingdom United Ministries at 10:30 a.m. This traveling international ministry is dedicated to Igniting the Fire of God Globally. First Baptist Church will conduct an ordination service for John Winn, deacon elect, at 3 p.m. The Rev. Temple Anderson will preach and the Phillipi Christian Church will accompany him. During the service, the following FBC members will be consecrated as trustees, John Epps and Dettrick Barber. The church is located at 102 Meadow Ave., Louisa.

Servants of Christ Baptist Church will hold its annual Ladies Night Out at 6:30 p.m. with guest speaker Diane Nickels, who will also provide special music. Fellowship, games, food, a silent auction and lots of fun. The church is located at 60 Sommerfield Dr. at Zion Crossroads, just past Walmart on Rt. 15N.

Mt. Gilliam Baptist Church (Old Site) will celebrate the first anniversary of its pastor, the Rev. Donald King Sr. The morning service will begin at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Patricia Ellis delivering the message, followed by lunch. The afternoon service will begin at 3 p.m. with the Rev. Mechanicsville Baptist Church will present Learn to Forgive by Gil Mertz Jan. 10 through Jan. 12 at 7 p.m. This biblical, practical and clinical presentation impacts every person, every family, every marriage, every relationship, and every church. There is hardly any sin that is more prevalent in the church or more easily rationalized than when Christians refuse to forgive others. Mertz has been involved with full-time Christian service for more than 30 years. He is a former pastor, ministry consultant, and hosted his own call-in radio talk show in Colorado Springs. He draws from a vast background of ministry with international missions, evangelism, humanitarian causes, social justice, race relations and serving the homeless.
