Using the format of classic shows such as Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune, participants can experience the fellowship of a Bible study combined with the fun of competition. Saturday, Jan. 18

Thessalonia Baptist Church will hold an ordination service for Minister Rosemary Price at 3 p.m.  The Rev. James Graves, associate minister of Zion Travelers Baptist Church, will be the guest preacher. The church is located at 278 Old County Rd., Mineral.

 

Saturday, Jan. 25

New Life Community Church will host the movie “My Hope America,” by the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association, at 6 p.m. There will also be a time of testimonies and questions and answers. Childcare will be provided. The church is located at 509 E. Main St., Louisa.

 

Sunday, Jan. 26

Wayland Baptist Church will welcome the Rev. Faye Cooper-Baldwin, of Quioccasin Baptist Church, Richmond, as guest speaker of the 11 a.m. worship service.  The church is located at 1228 Oakland Rd., Louisa.

Shady Grove Baptist Church will celebrate Black History Month with the theme Back Down Memory Lane. Worship will begin  at 10 a.m. The church is located at 3384 Oakland Church Rd., Gum Spring.
