Not a king’s ransom

A Louisa man could face up to 10 years for stealing scrap metal from a local business, Lloyd’s Heating and Cooling, and selling it in September 2013.

Jason Lee King, 34, pleaded guilty in Louisa County Circuit Court on Monday, March 10 after the Louisa Grand Jury returned a true bill against him on the class 5 felony.

According to defense attorney Adam Rhea, King was approached by another individual who had stolen the scrap metals and asked him to sell it for him. The individual had no identification which was needed in order to sell the metals.
