The Quarters Auction has been well-attended in past years and has entertained all that participated. This year should be no exception to the fun.

A Quarters Auction will be held on Friday, March 28 from 6 until 9 p.m. at  the Betty Queen Center.

Sponsored by Louisa County Parks, Recreation and Tourism, JABA and Arc of the Piedmont, this new type of event is like an evening of shopping, food, laughter and networking all rolled into one.

Pay $1 to get into the event and get a number paddle.  Preview the vendors and their auction items from businesses such as  ThirtyOne Bags, Pampered Chef,  Scentsy, Prospect Hill Plantation Inn, Midnight Creations, Amway, Cleaver Container, Zee’s Baubles and Beads, and others, then get ready for the auction.

Items may be bid on for one to eight quarters, and the announcer draws a single random number. Whomever holds the paddle with the winning number takes that auction item home.

The funds raised from the Quarters Auction benefit the organizations in the Betty  J. Queen Center including Louisa County Parks, Recreation and Tourism, JABA, Arc of the Piedmont and Volunteers of Louisa.

For more information, call (540) 967-4420 or go to the Parks, Recreation and Tourism website.
