A Mineral man was sentenced in federal court on Thursday, July 17, to more than 24 years on charges of kidnapping, interstate domestic violence and possession of a firearm in the commission of a violent crime.
Thomas Earl Faulls Sr., 48, was convicted in February for the kidnapping of his ex-wife, Lori, on August 22, 2012. Faulls drove her to West Virginia and sexually assaulted her.
The victim escaped from Faulls on August 23, 2012 and two Lewisburg citizens drove her to the Greenbrier Sheriff’s Office in West Virginia.
Faulls was located shortly after and taken into custody.
After serving his sentence, Faulls will also have 15 years of supervised release and have to register as a sex offender.
