Louisa County slightly shaken by 2.1 quake on Friday

A 2.1 magnitude earthquake was felt at 12:54 p.m. on Friday, July 25 by residents in Louisa, Mineral, Keswick and Kents Store. According to Paul Caruso of the United States Geological Survey, the epicenter was six miles south, southeast of of Louisa. The magnitude could be revised slightly afterward after USGS officials review the quake data more, according to Caruso.
