Welcome back to The Jungle

On Friday, it comes back…

On Friday, Louisa will again open its Jungle’s gates…

On Friday, the Knights of Spotsylvania will make the trip from Post Oak across Lake Anna to the home of your Louisa Lions…

On Friday at 7:30 p.m., the pillars will shake and Mineral will put itself back on the Richter Scale…

On Friday, Aug. 29, regular season football comes back to Louisa County.

The Lions first test came last week against Goochland, and Louisa overcame challenges and triumphed 33–23 over the Bulldogs.  Now, it’s time for the Lions to perform at home.

Now, it’s time to fill The Jungle for the first time in the 2014 season.  You, the Lion Nation, will answer the question, “Are you ready?” for the first time this season.  On Friday, you will come to your feet in our home for the first time this season as we honor our nation with our national anthem.  You, the life’s blood that pumps through The Jungle, will cheer as your 12th Man flag is raised and our boys run through the tunnel for the first time this season.  It will be, for the first time this season, time for you to welcome an opponent to The Jungle!

On Friday, we set the tone for the season in our home and I ask you, where will you be?  You only have one night to be at the first home game of 2014; to welcome Coach Fischer back; to be behind our Lions as they begin a quest for a spot in LCHS history.  Don’t just hear about greatness, be a part of it.

The Chuck Wagon’s rolling straight through there Friday night.  Come ride shotgun for me, we’ve got a whole stadium’s worth of seats!
