Be a part of the world’s largest swimming lesson

Come help break the world record again this year–Thursday, June 14 from 11 a.m. until 12 p.m., the Louisa County Aquatic Facility will attempt to break the world record by having a free swim lesson.
More than 20,000 kids and adults on five different continents helped spread the message that Swimming Lessons Save Lives in 2011. News coverage about the program generated more than 20 million impressions in the US alone. Tragically, drowning remains the second leading cause of injury-related death of children ages one through 14.
To participate is free but participants must pre-register by contacting Louisa County Parks and Recreation office at (540) 967-4420 or sign up at the pool. The event is open to all ages.
