Fifteen Louisa County High School students were inducted into the Student Organization for Developing Attitudes (SODA) on Monday, May 21. SODA is a mentoring program through which select high school students teach character-building lessons to fourth grade students in the Louisa County Public School division. Membership is highly regarded and very competitive. Students must complete an application, which includes recommendations from all eight of their teachers. Ninth through eleventh grade students may apply for SODA beginning in February for the upcoming school year. Applicants are selected based on exemplary grades, attendance, and behavior, teacher recommendations, and a personal interview.
