Innocence never goes out of style

Yearly, My Bougie Baby fashions are modeled by young ladies ages four through 14 including designer Wendy Pittman’s daughter, Tiffani Rae (sixth from left).

Tired of trying to find age-appropriate clothing for her eight-year-old daughter, Wendy Burton-Pittman scoured stores and on-line sites frustrated at what she was finding and not finding. Feeling that the clothing world was missing its mark with young girls ages four to 14, Pittman decided to create her own line of age-appropriate, trend setting, reasonably priced clothing for young girls.

“My Bougie Baby,” (named after her daughter’s nickname), was established in 2011.

You won’t find her clothing line in any retail store.  Pittman, originally from Louisa, formed her own web-based clothing company as an alternative for parents shopping for fresh, stylish, inexpensive, but age-appropriate clothing for their daughters.

Becoming successful has not loosened her ties or love of Louisa.  According to her husband, Eric, she always talks about Louisa and how much she loves the area and people.
