Friday, Sept. 7

Temple of Deliverance, HCG, will conclude its revival services at 7:30 p.m.  The guest speaker will be Bishop Lyle Dukes, Harvest Life, Woodbridge.  The church is located at 5756 Zachary Taylor Hwy., Mineral.

 

Sunday, Sept. 9

Temple of Deliverance, HCG, will hold Homecoming with services at 11:15 a.m. with Elder Lynn Beanum, pastor, and at 3:30 p.m. with Elder James Dudley, Bowling Green. The church is located at 5756 Zachary Taylor Hwy., Mineral.

 

Philippi Christian Church will hold its annual Homecoming and Revival services, Get Up & Get Out – It’s Service Time, starting Sunday, Sept. 9 at 11 a.m. with Pastor Temple E. Anderson leading the service. The Rev. Robert Strothers, Thessalonian Baptist Church, Fork Union, will deliver the Sunday afternoon service and be the Evangelist for the week. Standing on the Promises of God Church will celebrate its Homecoming with its morning service at 11 a.m. followed with lunch at 2 p.m. The afternoon service will start at 3 p.m.  The guest preacher will be Elder Frederick Sales of New Destiny Baptist Church, Fredericksburg, and guest choir, the Gospel Voices of Glen Allen Choir.  Revival will be held Monday, Sept. 10 through Wednesday, Sept. 12 with praise and worship starting at 7:30 p.m. and worship at 8:00 p.m. nightly.  Elder Sales will lead the revival and guest choirs will include Zion Travelers Baptist Church Choir on Monday, St. Johns Baptist Church Choir of Mineral on Tuesday and St. Thomas Baptist Church Men’s Choir, Mineral, on Wednesday. Saturday, Sept. 15

First Bible Way Church will hold its annual Homecoming Sunday, Sept. 16 and Revival Monday, Sept. 17 through Friday, Sept. 21. Pastor Robert A. Free Union Gospel Church will celebrate its Homecoming with services conducted by Bishop John Marshall at 11:30 a.m. followed by lunch and again at 3:00 p.m. led by Guest Bishop Rufus Hayes of Charlottesville Church of God in Christ. Revival will be held Monday, Sept. 17 through Friday, Sept. 21 at 7:30 p.m. nightly. Services will be led by Bishop Hayes on Monday and Tuesday, Dr. Charles Haden of Haden Ministry on Wednesday, and Elder Maurice Carter of Crystal Cathedral, Dillwyn, on Thursday and Friday.  Various churches will render the music. Ebenezer Baptist Church will host the A.L.
