On Sept. 6, 60 second- and fifth-grade members of the JES Garden Club stayed after school to weed, prune and clean flower beds on the school campus. The JES Outdoor Learning Community Correlate oversees the club, which had its second meeting on Sept. 27, with first and fourth graders in attendance.
