Vote for a president we can trust

To the Editor:

On Sept. 11, 2012, America suffered another terrorist attack this time on our embassy in Libya. During the attack, our ambassador and three fellow Americans were murdered. That fact alone is reason enough to grieve and pray for them and their families, but the fact that our White House watched the seven-hour battle in real time and did NOTHING to help, should enrage every red-blooded American. When did America start leaving our people to the mercy of terrorists and do nothing? The answer is when President Obama moved into the White House.

This president has repeatedly lied about the cause of the attack, calling it a spontaneous riot caused by a video that had been released months earlier. When that lie was exposed, the lie changed to “he didn’t know,” and that lie, besides not passing the common sense test, has also been exposed. The people at the embassy requested help three times and were denied help. After the murders, he apologized to Islam for the video–the same people that committed the murders.

To add insult to the grieving families, the president, vice president and secretary of state with the flag covered coffins of the murdered Americans rested in the background, looked the families in the eyes and lied to them. The lie that was told? The filmmaker of the video would be brought to justice knowing that it was terrorists that had killed their loved ones.

President Obama wants to cut our military and make us even more vulnerable to more terrorist attacks. He has weakened our economy to the point of collapse, and his plan for our future is more of the same.

Whom should we choose?
