Free driving course for veterans

In honor of Veterans Day and in recognition of their dedication and commitment to service, AARP Drive Safety is offering a free classroom course or 50 percent off its online course to all members of the U.S. armed forces, including active duty, veteran, guard or reserve through Nov. 30.

The offer is available to domestic partners, widows and widowers, dependents and children.

To redeem the free classroom course offer, veterans and their family members must present a completed coupon to the host organization or the volunteer instructor at the time of registration or payment.  Course coupons are available for download at www.aarp.org/veterans.

Louisa County Chapter #3049 will be holding a drive safety course on Nov. 20 and 21 starting at 9 a.m. at 1 Woolfolk Ave. in Louisa.  For further information or to register call (540) 894-4804.
