Samuel C. Hudson III
Samuel C. Hudson III passed away on April 17, 2013 at his home in Bartlett, Tennessee.
He was born on May 12, 1957 in Charlottesville.
His parents, Sue Holley Coiner and Samuel C. Hudson II, preceded him in death.
He is survived by his son, Nicholas Allen Hudson of Bartlett, Tennessee; two step-daughters, Heather Shappley of Statesboro, Georgia, and Stephanie Garo of Bartlett, Tennessee; two sisters, Kim Sand of Chandler, Texas, and Pamela L. Coiner of Cocoa Beach, Florida. He also leaves behind a fiancée, Sonya Campbell of Millington, Tennessee.
He was a native Virginian, retired chief petty officer from the US Navy and he was employed with Fed Ex for 13 years as a senior AMT.
He loved and treasured his maternal grandmother, Audrey Payne Holley of Louisa County. He lived with her from an early age and she was a devoted and loving grandmother to him until her passing.
He was a devoted and loving father. He embraced life and enjoyed his fellow co-workers, his biking buddies and his aunts, uncles, cousins and friends, who are spread around the country. He always brought joy, love and concern to others. We will greatly miss the joy he brought to our daily lives.
A funeral was held at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, April 24 at Memphis Funeral Home. Interment was in West Tennessee Veterans Cemetery.

Robert B. Moseley
Robert B. Moseley, 44, of Mineral, passed away Monday, April 22, 2013.
He is survived by his mother, Beverley Black; brother, David S. Moseley (Jane); and his nieces, Hailey and Madison.
His remains rest at Lacy Funeral Home; Rt. 522 Mineral, Va.; where the family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. on Friday, April 26. A graveside will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, April 27 at Spring Grove Cemetery, Mineral.

Rachel F. Talley
Rachel Fincham Talley, 83, of Mineral, passed away April 18, 2013 at the Laurels of University Park in Richmond.
She enjoyed bluebirds and hummingbirds. She attended Louisa Christian Church before failing health limited her activities.
Survivors include her daughter, Joyce Talley (Jimmy Conner Sr.); her granddaughter, Angela Neimand of Richmond; her grandson, William J. Conner Jr. (A’nh) of Richmond; a sister, Pauline Davis of Charlottesville; a brother, Edward Hyer of Glen Allen; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Talley; her father, Randolf Fincham; her stepfather, James Thomas Hyer; her mother, Ethel Mae Sutphin Hyer; and her brother, H. Thomas Hyer.
A graveside service, conducted by the Rev. Denney Burnette, was held at 2 p.m. on Monday, April 22 at Hillcrest Cemetery, Louisa.

Earline “Jackie” Wallace, 73, of Montpelier, went to be with the Lord on Friday, April 19, 2013.
She was preceded in death by her father, Earl S. Vass Sr.; her mother, Sadie West Richardson; and her stepfather, Clopton Abner Richardson.
She is survived by her husband, James Wallace Sr. of Montpelier; her son, James Wallace Jr. (Linda S.) of Mineral; and daughter, Penny J. Wallace of Bumpass.
Jackie was a member of Hopeful Baptist Church.
A funeral service was held at 11 a.m. Tuesday April 23, at Hopeful Baptist Church, Montpelier. Interment was in the church cemetery.
