Derrick E. Burford
Derrick Earl Burford, 21, of Louisa, died Thursday, May 23, 2013, in Louisa.
Born January 26, 1992 in Charlottesville, he was a son of Richard Earl Burford Jr. and Sandra Gail Hite Burford of Louisa.
Derrick was a member of Louisa Baptist Church and worked as an electricians helper at North Anna Power Station.
In addition to his parents he is survived by a brother, Kevin Rosseel of New York; two sisters, Cassie Burford of Louisa, Michelle Ingram and her husband, Rick, of Pennsylvania; his aunts and uncles, Mark Burford, Dale Burford, Debi Hara, Dot Crockett, Delbert Hite, Leroy Hite, Ron Hite and Peter Hessler; a host of cousins and other relatives; special friends, George Dorman, Ben Roach, Shylah Adcock, Wanda Thomas, Eddie Thomas, Jen Thomas and many others.
Derrick passed away alongside his girlfriend, Dawn Ross, of Louisa.
A memorial service, conducted by the Rev. Paige Green, will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday May 27, at Louisa Baptist Church.
