Living Water Fellowship will hold its second annual youth conference starting at 9 a.m. for participants age 10 through 21. “Purpose Driven, the Winner Within” will show participants how to behave like obedient children and not be controlled by desired.  Mary Grant, workshop facilitator, will guide students through topics including how to dress for an interview, maintaining a Christ-like image, how to build an employment portfolio, how to fill out an application and how to identify job skills. There will also be games, college information, a fashion show and prizes. The church is located at 115 Jefferson Hwy., Sage Building, Louisa. The Love-Joy praise dancers of New Anna Baptist Church will celebrate its third anniversary at 4 p.m. along with other praise dancers from, New Line Baptist Church dance ministry, Peach Grove dance ministry, Mt. Tuesday, June 18

Living Water Fellowship Church will celebrate the 13th anniversary of its pastor, Patricia Dunn, the week of June 18 through June 21 at 7:30 p.m. nightly. Guest speakers will include: Pastor Crawley of Foster Creek Baptist Church on Tuesday, Pastor Hugh Ellis from Gordonsville Bibleway Church on Wednesday, and pastors Gene and Linda Arey from Harvest Church International, Waynesboro, on Thursday and Friday. Saturday, June 22

Shady Grove Baptist Church Music Ministry will hold its State and Capital pageant at 5 p.m. with guest Deacon Steve Bradshaw and the Galilee Male Choir in concert. The church is located at 3384 Oakland Church Rd., Gum Spring.

 

Sunday, June 23

Wayland Baptist Church will celebrate its 131st anniversary. Pastor Frances Lewis will bring the morning’s Word at 11 a.m. followed by lunch. Dr. Ray McKenzie will be the speaker at 3 p.m.  The Rev. Sharon Roberts, pastor of St. Thomas Baptist Church will be worship leader and her choir will render the music. The church is located at 1228 Oakland Rd., Louisa.

 

New Anna Baptist Church will hold a Testimonial Service at 3 p.m. The theme is “Do you know what a Testimony is?” The Rev. Annie Holland of First Baptist Church in Louisa will be the guest preacher and music will be rendered by the Rev. and Mrs. Walker and others.  The service is sponsored by Deacon Haywood Minor. Peach Grove Baptist Church will hold its annual Rally Day at 11:30 a.m. The service will be conducted by Pastor Sherman Hudson followed by lunch. The guests for the 3 p.m. service will be the Rev. Mt. Hope Baptist Church Youth/Young Adult Choir will celebrate its 19th anniversary at 3:00 p.m., pre-worship is at 2:45 p.m.  The theme for this celebration is “Every Praise is to Our God”.  Guest will include local youth/young adult choirs and soloists.
