Help put Louisa on the map

Here is your opportunity to officially welcome visitors to Louisa. The County’s Parks, Recreation and Tourism Department is sponsoring a contest to choose “Welcome to Louisa” slogans that will be placed on signs throughout the county.

Slogan should begin with “Welcome to Louisa County… followed by no more than two lines.  For example, “Welcome to Louisa County, where the earth shakes and we rock and roll!”

Entries must be submitted by July 11, 2013 either by email at visitlouisa@louisa.org,  by mail P.O. Box 864 Louisa, VA 23093 or to drop it off at the Parks, Recreation and Tourism office in the Betty Queen Intergenerational Center, 522 Industrial Drive in Louisa. Entry forms are available at various locations throughout the county  and on line.  Include your name, telephone number, address, email address, and age category (child/adult).  Slogans will be chosen by the Welcome to Louisa  Selection Committee prior to August 9th and cash prizes will be awarded to the winners.
