Entrance damaged, open for business

A car plowed into the entrance of the Louisa CVS Pharmacy store on Main Street during the evening of Sunday, July 28, causing extensive damage to the business’ front doors.

Grace Pitman, 59, of Louisa, lost control of her 2000 Lincoln Town Car while attempting to park in front of CVS.

Calls placed to CVS for information regarding the extent of the damage and estimated cost to repair have gone unanswered.

Town Police Officer Kevin Morris is still investigating why Pitman lost control of her vehicle leading to the accident.

Alcohol has been ruled out as a contributing factor and no injuries were sustained.

The store is open for business and currently has plywood placed in and around one entry door for customers.
