    Woodgrove’s defense allowed Louisa to gain more than 200 yards, but forced two crucial turnovers in the second half.

    As a whole, the Louisa Lions are a pretty experienced squad. After all, of their 52-man roster, 24 are seniors. But as for playoff expertise, the Lions are pretty green. Louisa’s playoff opener versus Woodgrove on Friday marks the end of the program’s two-year playoff drought. Most of this year’s senior class experienced great success as junior varsity players, but struggled to just seven wins combined in 2012 and 2013.
