    This season, the Lions wrestling team had a new coach, new leaders and a new gymnasium. But they got the same results. For the second straight season, Louisa dominated the two-day Jefferson District Tournament on Friday and Saturday, winning all eight of their matches en route to winning consecutive district titles for the first time since 2008-2009. “It feels great to accomplish that,” first year head coach Trevor Gallo said.

    Looking to extend their winning streak to five games, Louisa’s junior varsity basketball team ran into a foe that was just too tough on Tuesday night. They were also too tall.
