Louisa Chamber to host annual picnic, June 27

The Louisa County Chamber of Commerce will hold its annual Membership Picnic and Meeting next Thursday, June 27, from 6 until 8 p.m. at Christopher Run Campground.  The menu will include barbeque pork and baked chicken with a variety of sides, musical entertainment will be DJ Tommy Nelson, and the theme is Patriotic as the chamber kicks off the summer and the Fourth of July holiday. “The annual membership picnic

    Celebrate Father’s Day enjoying great old tunes from live bands at Small Country Campground on Saturday, June 15 from 3 until 10 p.m. The campground’s lakeside Song Shed will host local bands “Courtney Brothers,” “Touch,” and “Come All” playing oldies but goodies, top 40s, blues, pop, rhythm and blues, jazz and rock and roll. Miss and Mr. Louisa Moose Lodge Sweetheart Pageant

The Louisa Moose Lodge (2065) will host the Miss and Mr. Louisa Moose Lodge  Sweetheart Pageant on February 16 at 2:00 pm. Eligible to enter are: Young Ladies ages Birth through 20 and young Men ages Birth through 12 years old. The judged categories are gown, Sunday dress/suit and photo. The cost to enter is $50.
