    1. Strength training session
      7:00 pm – 8:00 pm

      Louisa Baptist Church has added a strength training session on Thursday nights at 7 p.m. Have a yoga mat, bring it along, if not, the church has extras.  Exercise not only improves your physical health, it improves a person’s emotional state and increases energy levels.  Remember to consult adoctor before starting any new exercise program.  All ladies in the community are welcome and there is no cost associated with this outing.

      10:00 am – 12:30 pm

      The Golden Age Club will meet at 10:00 a.m. at the Betty Queen Center for an informational and musical presentation  from the Twin Oaks Community. They will also answer questions. The group will meet at 11:30 a.m. for lunch at Pizza Hut, 100 Jefferson Highway, Louisa (Route 33).

      3:30 pm – 4:30 pm

      Teen Tech Workshop will meet at 3:30 p.m. at Louisa County Public Library. Altoid tins are curiously hackable. They can be made into everything from sewing kits to mini banjos. Join us and make something to take home. Grades 6-12. Registration required and begins March 2.

      An Introduction to Organic Vegetable Gardening will be presented by CVMG Ira Wallace at the Louisa County Public Library, 881 Davis Highway, Mineral from 9:30 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. Learn about garden location, water, soil, site selection,fertilizer, container gardening, mulching managing weeds, companion planting transplanting, seed saving and more. Come out to the library for an in-depth genealogy lesson and get some tips on how to get started. Special Guest: Elaine Taylor of the Louisa County Historical Society. Part of the Big Read.

    1. Relay For Life Louisa Team Rally
      6:30 pm – 8:00 pm

      Relay For Life Louisa Team Rally will meet at the Louisa County Public Library, 881 Davis Highway, Mineral. Team members may turn in funds raised starting at 6:30 p.m. and the meeting will begin at 7:00 p.m.

      Preschool Storytime is held at the Louisa County Public Library each Thursday at 10:30 a.m.  The program is designed for children ages 3  through 5 and includes fun time of stories, songs, flannel boards and learning.

      The Clean Community Commission will hold its regular meeting from 5 until 7 p.m. in the Betty J. Queen Intergenerational Center conference room. The public is encouraged to attend.
