    1. Salt herring breakfast
      7:00 am – 10:30 am

      Lake Anna Rescue, Inc. will hold a salt herring breakfast from 7:00 until 10:30 a.m. at its facility located at 300 Bumpass Road, Bumpass, for donations only. Menu consists of salt herring, bacon, sausage, eggs cooked to order, homemade biscuits, sausage gravy, potatoes and a beverage.

    2. Team Trivia Challenge
      6:00 pm – 8:00 pm

      Adult Community Education’s (ACE) Fundraiser Team Trivia Challenge is back at Roma Italian Restaurant.  Check in 6:00 until 6:30 p.m. Pizza, pasta, salad and drinks. Teams are in groups of 6 to 8 persons. If you don’t have a team, we will match you with a table. Tickets are $30 before Feb. 2 and $35 at the door. For reservations call Becky Peterson at (703) 850-0673, or beccapete52@gmail.com, or the ACE office at (540) 967-5660, or literacylouisa@gmail.com.  There will be a 50/50 raffle and auction of a week in a Florida condo. Donations are tax deductible and support tutoring for adults in basic literacy, GED, English and family mentoring.

      Relay For Life Louisa Team Rally will meet at the Louisa County Public Library, 881 Davis Highway, Mineral. Team members may turn in funds raised starting at 6:30 p.m. and the meeting will begin at 7:00 p.m.

Chat and meet your neighbors while you work on your craft. Bring any project you’re working on, or come just to be inspired. All ages and levels of experience welcome. Call or visit the library for details. Meets every Wednesday at 2 p.m.

      The Louisa County AARP Chapter #3049 will hold its monthly meeting at 2 p.m. in the second floor conference room of the Louisa County Administration Building.  The guests will be Linda and Jim Salisbury of Tabby House, whose company is an author’s guide to producing a marketable book.  Linda is the author of the Bailey Fish adventure series for children ages eight and up.  Refreshments will be served.
