      B.Y.O.C. – Bring Your Own Craft. Do you knit, bead, make rugs, hand stitch or do any kind of handcraft? Come to share ideas, show off your work and get another crafter’s eye and perception. Chat and meet your neighbors while you work on your craft. Bring any project you’re working on, or come just to be inspired. All ages and levels of experience welcome. Call or visit the library for details. Meets every Wednesday at 2 p.m.

      2:00 pm – 3:00 pm

      The Louisa County AARP Chapter #3049 will meet at 2 p.m. in the second floor conference room of the Louisa County Administration Building.  Amanda Blanks, Investor Education Coordinator for the Virginia State Corporation Commission will present a program on a variety of investment topics including how to avoid fraudulent investment offers.  Refreshments will be served.  Guests and new members are always welcome.

    5. The Artists of Blue Ridge Shores
      12:00 pm – 1:00 pm

      The Artists of Blue Ridge Shores will have a display in The Purcell Gallery of Louisa Arts Center through March 20. Gallery Hours are Monday through Friday, 12 until 4 p.m. The Arts Center is located at 212 Fredericksburg Avenue, Louisa. For more information, call (540) 967-2200.

    6. Hillbillies plan Easter basket raffle
      3:30 pm – 4:30 pm

      The Mineral Hillbillies will raffle an Easter basket on April 4 at 2 p.m., at the close of ticket sales.

      Members of the group will sell tickets at Louisa True Value Hardware on March 21, 28 and April 2 from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. for $1 each, or six for $5. Ticket sales will benefit Shriners Hospitals for Children.

      The Easter bunny will visit the store on April 4 from noon until 2 p.m. Patrons may bring a camera  to have a picture taken with the Easter bunny.
