    1. The Artists of Blue Ridge Shores

      The Artists of Blue Ridge Shores will have a display in The Purcell Gallery of Louisa Arts Center through March 20. Gallery Hours are Monday through Friday, 12 until 4 p.m. The Arts Center is located at 212 Fredericksburg Avenue, Louisa. For more information, call (540) 967-2200.

      7:00 pm – 8:00 pm

      Louisa Baptist Church has added a strength training session on Thursday nights at 7 p.m. Have a yoga mat, bring it along, if not, the church has extras.  Exercise not only improves your physical health, it improves a person’s emotional state and increases energy levels.  Remember to consult adoctor before starting any new exercise program.  All ladies in the community are welcome and there is no cost associated with this outing.

    1. Trees: We Can’t Live Without Them
      9:30 am – 12:00 pm

      Trees: We Can’t Live Without Them will be presented by CVMGs Carla Bangs and Donna Frago at the Louisa County Public Library, 881 Davis Highway, Mineral from 9:30 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. Learn how to plant, select, landscape and maintain trees. Register at (540) 894-8822.

    2. Food for the Soul
      10:00 am – 2:00 pm

      Galilee Baptist Church will hold Food for the Soul from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. in its fellowship hall.  In exchange for a scripture, participants may select any household, jewelry or clothing item that’s available. GBC missionaries will provide homemade soup during the event. The church is located at 3598 Three Notch Road, Kents Store.

    3. Longaberger Basket bingo
      5:00 pm – 8:00 pm

      A Longaberger Basket bingo will be held to benefit the Brian Huffman Agricultural Endowment at Gordonsville Fire Hall. Doors open at 5 p.m. and 16 games of bingo will begin at 6 p.m. Advance tickets are $20 and $25 at the door. There will also be food available and a baked goods auction.       6:00 pm – 11:00 pm

      The Jouett Elementary School PTA will host a prize basket bingo at 6 p.m. at Jouett Elementary School. Tickets are $20. Prize basket themes include movie night, gift cards, baby, pets, game night, spa, chocolate, automotive, sports, cooking, and gardening. Barbecue and hot dogs will be available for purchase.     1. Teen Advisory Board (TAB)
      4:00 pm – 5:00 pm

      Teen Advisory Board (TAB) will meet at 4 p.m. at Louisa County Public Library. This is your chance to be heard when it comes to programming at the Louisa County Library. Help plan teen programs and activities! Snacks and drinks will be provided and participants receive volunteer hours for their participation in TAB. Grades 6-12. Registration requested but not required.

      Baby Time is held at the Louisa County Public Library each Thrusday at 10:20 a.m.  The program is designed for children ages 2 and younger.

      Preschool Storytime is held at the Louisa County Public Library each Thursday at 10:30 a.m.  The program is designed for children ages 3  through 5 and includes fun time of stories, songs, flannel boards and learning.

    1. Bring Your Own Craft
      2:00 pm – 3:00 pm

      B.Y.O.C. – Bring Your Own Craft. Do you knit, bead, make rugs, hand stitch or do any kind of handcraft? Come to share ideas, show off your work and get another crafter’s eye and perception. Chat and meet your neighbors while you work on your craft. Bring any project you’re working on, or come just to be inspired. All ages and levels of experience welcome.
