      Church of the Incarnation will hold the Community Table at 5 p.m. Sundays through Aug. 10. Get to know your neighbors better and enjoy a good meal at the same time. Available fresh seasonal produce will be shared. This is a free meal. The church is located at the corner of Louisa Avenue and E. Lee Streets in Mineral, just a block from theMineral Fire Department.       Do What You Want Craft Group meets  at the Louisa Public Library at 3 p.m. Do you knit, bead, make rugs, hand stitch or do any kind of handicraft?  Come join us to share ideas, show off your work and get another crafter’s eye and perception.  Chat and meet your neighbors while you work on your craft.  Bring any project you’re working on, or come just to be inspired.       Fork Baptist Church, 14357 Jefferson Highway, Bumpass, will hold outside movie night featuring “Mom’s Night Out.” The movie is open to everyone and free.  Bring a chair or a blanket.  The grounds will be open at 8 p.m. and the movie starts at sunset.  Free popcorn.  Hot dogs and drinks will be available at reasonable prices.

    1. These Were the Colors

      “These Were the Colors” is a botanically inspired journey back in history from field to frock as participants learn how to work with flowers, vegetables, bark and roots taking hues of a pre-Industrial age palette at the Sargeant Museum from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. The fee is $13.
