    1. Dance and soccer clinics
      10:00 am – 12:30 pm

      Louisa Baptist Church will be provide both dance and soccer clinics for children ages 7 and older from 10:00 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. for at no charge.  The dance instruction will include hip-hop, jazz and ballet.  Those attending the soccer clinic should bring any soccer gear they may have, such as shin guards and cleats.  For more information, contact the church office at (540) 967-1364.  The church is located at 305 E.       6:00 pm – 8:00 pm

    1. Faith in ACTION meeting
      9:00 am – 10:00 am

      Louisa County Faith in ACTION Committee will hold a Mini Gathering for faith-based groups and others interested in meeting community needs from 9:00 until 11:30 a.m. in the extension office conference room located on the second floor of the Louisa County Administration Building, 1 Woolfolk Ave., Louisa.  Discussions will focus on the possibility of a county-wide church fund, thrift store options and a centralized online resource for church-related information.     1. Do What You Want Craft Group
      3:00 pm – 4:00 pm

      Do What You Want Craft Group meets  at the Louisa Public Library at 3 p.m. Do you knit, bead, make rugs, hand stitch or do any kind of handicraft?  Come join us to share ideas, show off your work and get another crafter’s eye and perception.  Chat and meet your neighbors while you work on your craft.  Bring any project you’re working on, or come just to be inspired. All ages and levels of experience welcome. Call or visit the library for details.

    1. Louisa Virginia Tea Party
      7:00 pm – 9:00 pm

      The Louisa Virginia Tea Party will meet at 7 p.m. at the Louisa County Public Library with guest speaker Russ Moulton, a well known conservative, activist leader in Virginia politics since 1989. He has worked/led many campaigns including those of Bryce Reeves and Ken Cuccinelli, and championed many state wide government issues. He is the founder and president of JRM Technologies. He graduated summa cum laude from the US Naval Academy with a BS in physics; earned a masters in electrical engineering from the University of Pennsylvania; and has served nearly 20 years in the Naval Reserve. He is married to Theresa Moulten and has three children.
