      The Louisa Arts Center, in partnership with Louisa County Parks, Recreation and Tourism, will present Family Fun Movies at 7 p.m. This week’s presentation will be Despicable Me. Adult tickets are $3, children tickets are $2 at the door.

      Do What You Want Craft Group meets  at the Louisa Public Library at 3 p.m. Do you knit, bead, make rugs, hand stitch or do any kind of handicraft?  Come join us to share ideas, show off your work and get another crafter’s eye and perception.  Chat and meet your neighbors while you work on your craft.  Bring any project you’re working on, or come just to be inspired. All ages and levels of experience welcome. Call or visit the library for details.

      8:00 am – 12:00 pm

      A farmers’ market will be held at Ebenezer Methodist Church, 3092 Oakland Rd., Louisa, from 8 a.m. until noon. Set up a table at no charge.  Produce, country eggs, plants, jelly, pickles, baked goods, homemade bread, local honey.   UMW bake sale will be held to benefit missions.  Breakfast and more.  Call Susan Fletcher for information at (540) 967-1407.

    3. Yard Sale
      8:00 am – 1:00 pm

      Mineral United Methodist Church, 301 West Third St., Mineral, will hold a Christmas in July yard sale from 8 a.m. until 1 p.m. featuring crafts, jewelry, books, toys, flower arrangements, kitchen and consignment items will be for sale inside the fellowship hall. Homemade coffee cake, burgers, hot dogs, and drinks will be available. Proceeds will benefit charities such as ARC, Hospice, Habitat for Humanity, the Food Band, and the Santa Council.
