    3. Strength training session
      7:00 pm – 8:00 pm

      Louisa Baptist Church has added a strength training session on Thursday nights at 7 p.m. Have a yoga mat, bring it along, if not, the church has extras.  Exercise not only improves your physical health, it improves a person’s emotional state and increases energy levels.  Remember to consult adoctor before starting any new exercise program.  All ladies in the community are welcome and there is no cost associated with this outing.

    1. Golden Age Club
      10:00 am – 11:00 am

      The Golden Age Club will meet at 10:00 a.m. at the Betty Queen Center for a presentation by Christian R. Goodwin, county administrator, who will lead a discussion on how the county works, future plans, and what to look forward to. The group will meet at 11:30 a.m. for lunch at Chef Lee Chinese Restaurant, 11000 Kentucky Springs Road, Mineral (off Route 208, near the new Food Lion).

Chat and meet your neighbors while you work on your craft. Bring any project you’re working on, or come just to be inspired. All ages and levels of experience welcome. Call or visit the library for details. Meets every Wednesday at 2 p.m.
