      Homeschool Idea Swap open forum will be held at the Louisa County Public Library at 2 p.m. Come swap ideas, curriculums, books and anything that has helped you homeschool your children. This is an opportunity to talk about what has worked or has not worked for you and get to know other families who homeschool. The library is located at 881 Davis Highway, Mineral.

      The Teen Advisory Board (TAB) will meet at 4 p.m. at Louisa County Public Library located at 881 Davis Highway, Mineral. This is your chance to be heard when it comes to programming at the Louisa County Public Library. Help plan teen programs and activities! Snacks and drinks will be provided and participants receive volunteer hours for their participation in TAB. Grades 6-12. Registration requested but not required.

      Louisa Baptist Church hosts Zumba classes each Monday at 7 p.m. that can improve your mood, and tone your body every. The way you will feel after a workout is priceless.  Join the fun and bring a friend.  There is no cost to attend. The church is located at 305 E. Main St., Louisa.

      Baby Time is held at the Louisa County Public Library each Thrusday at 10:20 a.m.  The program is designed for children ages 2 and younger.

    3. Louisa Democrats meeting
      6:00 pm – 8:00 pm

      The Louisa County AARP Chapter #3049 will hold its January meeting at 2 p.m. in the second floor conference room of the Louisa County Administration Building.   Willie Gentry from the Louisa County Board of Supervisors will speak to the group updating members on plans and activities for the county in 2015.  Refreshments will be served after the program.

      B.Y.O.C. – Bring Your Own Craft. Do you knit, bead, make rugs, hand stitch or do any kind of handcraft? Come to share ideas, show off your work and get another crafter’s eye and perception. Chat and meet your neighbors while you work on your craft. Bring any project you’re working on, or come just to be inspired. All ages and levels of experience welcome. Call or visit the library for details. Meets every Wednesday at 2 p.m.
