    4. The Artists of Blue Ridge Shores
      12:00 pm – 4:00 pm

      The Artists of Blue Ridge Shores will have a display in The Purcell Gallery of Louisa Arts Center through March 20. Gallery Hours are Monday through Friday, 12 until 4 p.m. The Arts Center is located at 212 Fredericksburg Avenue, Louisa. For more information, call (540) 967-2200.

    5. Strength training session
      7:00 pm – 8:00 pm

      Louisa Baptist Church has added a strength training session on Thursday nights at 7 p.m. Have a yoga mat, bring it along, if not, the church has extras.  Exercise not only improves your physical health, it improves a person’s emotional state and increases energy levels.  Remember to consult adoctor before starting any new exercise program.  All ladies in the community are welcome and there is no cost associated with this outing.

      The Golden Age Club will meet at 11:30 a.m. for lunch at Tavern on the Rail, 81 Tavern Road,Mineral (off Route 618).

    2. Fish dinners
      4:30 pm – 7:00 pm

      St. Jude Catholic Church will hold its fish dinners through the season of Lent from 4:30 until 7:00 p.m. Carry-out only meals will consist of fried or baked fish or shrimp, hush puppies, french fries or mac and cheese, cole slaw or applesauce and a dessert. Adult dinners are $9 for fish and $10 for shrimp. Children’s dinners are $4 for no fish, $5 for fish and $6 for shrimp. Additional fish or shrimp may be added to orders for $2 and $3 respectively. The church is located at 1937 Davis Highway, Mineral.

      4:30 pm – 8:00 pm

      Lake Anna Rescue, Inc. will hold its annual fish dinner from 4:30 until 8:00 p.m., dine-in or carry-out. Menu will consist of baked or fried flounder or catfish platter, $8; shrimp platter, $8; fish sandwich, $5; or one hamburger or two hot dogs, $6. All platters come with two sides, dessert, bread and beverage. Sides include mac and cheese, baked potato, french fries, or cole slaw.       Our Pollinators Are in Trouble: Who are they, what’s their role, and how can we help them? will be presented by CVMG Ruth Douglas at the Louisa County Public Library, 881 Davis Highway, Mineral from 9:30 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. Learn about the basics of pollination, contributing factors in the decline of pollinators, how to establish a pollinator habitat and how to help them.
