    1. Women in Transition support group
      5:30 pm – 7:30 pm

      A Women in Transition support group will be held each Monday from 5:30 until 7:30 p.m. at the Betty J. Queen Intergenerational Center meeting room. The six-week group will provide education and support opportunities for women to talk about the impact of intimate partner violence in their life.       Preschool Storytime is held at the Louisa County Public Library each Thursday at 10:30 a.m.  The program is designed for children ages 3  through 5 and includes fun time of stories, songs, flannel boards and learning.

      B.Y.O.C. – Bring Your Own Craft. Do you knit, bead, make rugs, hand stitch or do any kind of handcraft? Come to share ideas, show off your work and get another crafter’s eye and perception. Chat and meet your neighbors while you work on your craft. Bring any project you’re working on, or come just to be inspired. All ages and levels of experience welcome. Call or visit the library for details. Meets every Wednesday at 2 p.m.

    5. Youth Venturing Crew meeting
      7:00 pm – 8:00 pm

      Zion Crossroads Volunteer Fire Department Co. 7 will host an informational meeting on forming a youth venturing crew at 7 p.m. The group, for young people age 14 through 20, will learn fire safety skills and EMT as well as experience outdoor adventure, leadership and lasting friendships.
