The Gum Spring United Methodist Youth Group is having a Lasagna Dinner at 5 PM on October 13 at the church. Tickets are on sale now by purchasing from a Gum Spring Youth or going on line at www.gumspringumc.com and clicking the donate button and filling in payment info. Tickets are also available at the door. Prices are $8 for adults and $5 for children.

CHANGE co-op, which meets at Louisa Baptist Church, held a science fair last Friday, March 22, 2013. 20 students participated, ages ranging from 5-18 years old. Assorted projects were presented, including using ballistic gel to determine BB gun damage range, hovercraft airflow, and slime variations using different types of glue. Judges for the competition included Mrs. Joan Hager of Orange, VA and Mrs. Chitra Swygard of Richmond, VA. CHANGE co-op
