This year’s program, “What We Did For Love – A Decade of Giving Through Music,” was chosen to highlight Louisa Community Chorus’s spirit of giving back to the community. The chorus has supported 11 local organizations during its existence including nine scholarships presented to Louisa County High School graduating seniors, several of whom were chorus members.
Chorus members (except students) are asked to pay $30 for the music packet. The first rehearsal will be held Monday, Sept. 11 at 6:15 p.m. to allow for registration and distribution of music. Starting September 18, rehearsals will be held Monday evenings from 6:45 until 8:15 p.m. at Louisa United Methodist Church. The concerts will be held Friday, Nov. 17 at 7:00 p.m. and Sunday, Nov. 19 at 4:00 p.m., at Louisa Methodist Church.
