After a grueling 18-month long project, Louisa’s downtown has a fresh face to showcase this weekend at the Celebrate Louisa Festival. Our little town has undergone some grand transformations over the years and most recently, many of our local business owners have been under some duress as the sidewalks were torn up and replaced.
The business owners have been patient and now the town wants to recognize that virtue by holding this festival to celebrate all things great about the Town of Louisa.
And why shouldn’t we? Louisa is and has been home to many of us throughout the years. Generations of families continue to thrive and grow here in our community while newcomers seem to find our little spot on the map every year.
Let’s face it, it’s hard to beat our town. We have restaurants and things to do, but all the while keeping our small-town identity.
With the end of the project and this ultimate unveiling, it seems inevitable that Louisa will continue to grow as we welcome newer businesses into the town and continue to invest in our own community.
This event is not only to recognize business owners’ patience but to showcase our town the best way we can. The business owners deserve it, residents deserve it, Louisa deserves it!
