Sunday, April 30

Blue Ridge Shores Baptist Church will observe Homecoming during its 11 a.m. worship service, followed by a fellowship dinner. Revival will be held Monday, May 1 through Wednesday, May 3 at 7 p.m. The church is located at the back entrance of BRS, 1230 Firehouse Drive, Louisa.

Trinity Baptist Church, 135 Mansfield Road, Mineral, will host a fifth Sunday song service during the regular 11 a.m. worship service, followed by a hot dog and chip meal. Starting at 1 p.m. a concert benefit will be held featuring area talent to benefit Tiffany Smith who lost everything in a house fire on April 2. Wednesday, May 3

Laurel Hill Baptist Church will hold its youth revival Wednesday, May 3 through Friday, May 5 at 7 p.m. nightly, featuring various preachers and choirs. The church is located at 7652 Kentucky Springs Road, Mineral.

Thursday, May 4

The 66th annual National Day of Prayer Community Prayer Service will be held at 12 p.m. on the Louisa Courthouse lawn, led by community leaders, pastors and local citizens. In case of inclement weather, the service will be held at Louisa United Methodist Church.

Friday, May 5

St. Mark Baptist Church will observe its annual youth  revival at 7 p.m. The revival will feature a guest speaker, musical group and praise dance team from the surrounding area. The church is located at 4596 Factory Mill Road, Maidens.

Saturday, May 6

Laurel Hill Baptist Church’s youth ministry will host a program entitled “Just Want to Praise You,” featuring various praise dancers. The church is located at 7652 Kentucky Springs Road, Mineral.

Sunday, May 7

New Line Baptist Church’s theatre ministry will present “Deacon Willie’s Last Will and Testament” a light-hearted comedy, followed by a catered dinner. The feature production is “Keeping It Real,” a locally written skit about community coming together no matter their background or ethnicity. The program will begin at 4 p.m. at the Montpelier Center for Art & Education, 17205 Mountain Road, Montpelier. Tickets are $25 in advance and $30 at the door. St. Mark Baptist Church will observe its annual Unity Day during the 11 a.m. worship service. The church is located at 4596 Factory Mill Road, Maidens.

Eagle Baptist Church will observe its annual Family and Friends Day during the 11 a.m. worship service conducted by the pastor and followed by a cookout. The church is located at  4682 Mt. Airy Road, Louisa.

Zion Travelers Baptist Church will celebrate its pastor’s eighth anniversary during the 11 a.m. worship service with a guest speaker. Refreshments will follow the service. The church is located at 3662 Roundabout Road, Louisa.

Mt. Olivet Baptist Church will celebrate its ushers’ anniversary at 3 p.m.  The church is located at 17520 Jefferson Highway, Montpelier.

Divine Baptist Church’s missionary group will host its annual Family and Friends Day. Prayer and praise will begin at 2:30 p.m., followed by the afternoon service at 3:00 p.m. The church is located at 11933 Shannon Hill Road, Louisa.

Monday, May 8

Springfield Baptist Church, 1042 Zion Road, Gordonsville, will hold its spring revival from Monday, May 8 through Wednesday, May 10 with a prayer and praise service at 7:30 p.m., followed by worship service at 8:00 p.m.
