Sunday, Aug. 6

Watchtower Baptist Church will celebrate Homecoming on Aug. 6 during the 11:30 a.m. worship service, followed by lunch at 1:30 p.m. The afternoon service will begin at 3:00 p.m. Revival will be held Monday, Aug. 7 through Wednesday, Aug. 9. Prayer and praise will begin at 7:00 p.m., followed by worship at 7:30 p.m. Music will be rendered by various choirs. The church is located at 375 Pottiesville Rd., Bumpass.

Shady Grove Baptist Church will celebrate Homecoming on Aug. 6 during the 11:00 a.m. morning worship service, followed by lunch at 1:30 p.m. The afternoon service will begin at 2:30 p.m. with prayer and praise and then worship at 3:00 p.m. Revival services will be held Monday, Aug. 7 through Thursday, Aug. 10 with prayer and praise at 7:00 p.m., followed by worship at 7:30. All services will be led by a guest speaker. The church is located at 3384 Oakland Church Rd., Gum Spring.

The St. John Baptist Church will celebrate Homecoming Sunday, Aug. 6 during the 11:30 a.m. and 3:00 p.m worship services. Revival services will be held Monday, Aug. 7 and Tuesday, Aug. 8 starting with prayers and praise at 7:30 p.m. followed by worship. All services will be led by guest speakers. The church is located at 5482 Zachary Taylor Hwy., Mineral.

Berea Baptist Church will celebrate Homecoming on Sunday, Aug. 6 at 11 a.m., followed by lunch on the grounds. Revival services will be held Monday, Aug. 7 through Wednesday, Aug. 9 at 7 p.m. featuring a guest speaker. Special music provided each night. The church is located at 5271 Poindexter Rd., Trevilians.

First Baptist Church will hold its annual community outreach service in the Louisa Town Park at 10 a.m. with the preached word and inspiring music, followed by a fellowship meal. The park is located at 108 Meadow Ave., Louisa.

New Anna Baptist Church will celebrate Homecoming on Sunday, Aug. 6 at 3:00 p.m. The early worship service will begin at noon, followed by lunch. Revival services will be held Monday, Aug. 7 through Friday, Aug. 11 with prayer and praise at 7:30 p.m. and worship at 8:00 p.m.

Saturday, Aug. 12

St. Thomas Baptist Church will hold its Family and Friends Day celebration from 1 until 5 p.m. featuring a  variety of scheduled events. The church is located at 1567 Bumpass Rd., Rt. 601, Bumpass.

Sunday, Aug. 13

Wayland Baptist Church will  hold its annual Homecoming on Sunday, Aug. 13 at 3 p.m. Revival services will be held Monday, Aug. 14 through Wednesday, Aug. 16 with prayer and praise starting at 7:30 p.m. The church is located at 1228 Oakland Rd., Louisa.

Mt. Gilliam Baptist Church will celebrate Homecoming at 3:00 p.m., on Snday, Aug. 13, featuring a guest speaker. Lunch will follow the 11:00 a.m. worship service. Revival will be held Monday, Aug. 14 through Friday, Aug. 18, and will welcome guest speakers and choirs. Prayer and praise will begin at 7:00 p.m., followed by worship at 7:30 p.m. The church is located at 4641 Chalklevel Rd., Louisa.

South Anna Baptist Church will celebrate Homecoming during the 11 a.m. worship service and will feature a speaker from the Virginia Baptist Historical Society. Lunch will be served on the grounds following the service. The church is located at 9071 Cross County Rd., Mineral.
