Sunday, June 7

Fork Baptist Church will hold an old-fashioned tent revival Sunday, June 7 through Tuesday, June 9 at 6:30 p.m. nightly. The church is located at 14357 Jefferson Highway, Bumpass.

Bright Hope Baptist Church will celebrate Missionary Day at 3 p.m. uplifting missionaries around the county and the world. The church is located at 9833 Poindexter Road, Louisa.

Free Union Gospel Church will celebrate the 31st anniversary of its pastor and church at 3 p.m. The church is located at 10378 Louisa Road, Gordonsville.

New Anna Baptist Church will celebrate its 143rd church anniversary. Morning worship will begin at 11 a.m., followed by lunch, and evening worship will be at 3 p.m. The church is located at 11639 Cross Country Road, Mineral.

New Line Baptist Church will celebrate the 18th anniversary of its pastor during the 10 a.m. service with a guest speaker, followed by light refreshments. The church is located at 4876 New Line Road, Gum Spring.

Monday, June 8

Kingdom United Ministries will hold revival Monday, June 8 through Wednesday, June 10 at 7:30 p.m. nightly.  The theme is “Let us go on unto Perfection” based on Hebrews 6:1.  There will be a guest minister each night. Saturday, June 13

Temple of Deliverance, HCG will hold a pastoral weekend celebration in honor of Elder Lynn W. Beanum. Saturday’s activities will include a dinner at 3:00 p.m., followed by worship at 4:30 p.m. Sunday’s activities will include 11:15 a.m. worship with a guest speaker. Zion Travelers Baptist Church will hold its annual Back To School program at 3 p.m. with a guest speaker, youth choirs and praise dancers. The church is located at 3662 Roundabout Road, Louisa.

Elk Creek Baptist Church will host a cookout at 4:00 p.m., followed by a lakeside concert at 5:30 p.m. featuring an award-winning southern gospel quartet. Louisa Presbyterian Church will hold Vacation Bible School Monday, June 15 through Friday, June 19 from 5:30 until 8:00 p.m. Classes are scheduled for children in grades Pre-K through sixth to take a “Journey off the Map.”  Scripture will show us that although the unexpected is waiting around the bend on the expedition of life, Jesus is the Ultimate Guide on a journey uncharted by us, but known to Him.
