Piedmont CASA will hold volunteer information sessions at Louisa County Library, 881 Davis Hwy., Mineral, from 12 until 1 p.m. and 6 until 7 p.m.  Anyone who has thought about becoming a court appointed special advocate in Louisa will find out how to advocate for the best interest of abused and neglected children in foster care.  No special experience is required, but volunteers must be at least 21 years old.  Volunteers are selected on the basis of their objectivity, competence and commitment.
