Clint Arrington Memorial Horses For Heroes Ride

The Steel Warriors Motorcycle Club will host the fourth annual Clint Arrington Memorial Horses For Heroes Ride to benefit Lonesome Dove Equestrian Center in Powhatan. The ride will leave from West Creek Athletic Sport Complex, 12575 West Creek Parkway, Henrico. Registration begins at 9 a.m. and kickstands go up at 11 a.m. Participation fees are $25 for riders, $15 for passengers. “Fun in the Son” festival

Sisters in Christ, Louisa will host its first annual “Fun in the Son” festival from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. at the Louisa Town Park, 108 Meadow Ave, Louisa. There will be music, food, vendors, local law enforcement and rescue squad, as well as Virginia Blood Services conducting a blood drive. Open to the public.
