Golf outing

Louisa County Volunteer Rescue Squad will sponsor its sixth annual golf outing at Tanyard Golf Club. Registration begins at 8 a.m., tee time is 9 a.m. Get your four-man team together, $260, or register as a single and be placed on a team, $65. Lunch is included, sponsorships are available. Yard sale and other activities

Louisa Baptist Church, 305 East Main Street, Louisa, will host a yard sale beginning at 8 a.m. Other activities (10 a.m. until 3 p.m.) include a raffle, silent auction, music, food and fun. Items being donated for the yard sale can be brought to the church Thursday, Sept. 22 between 9 a.m. and 7 p.m. All proceeds will benefit the Journey Home.
