Business Bursts educational series

The Louisa County Chamber of Commerce will offer its summer/fall Business Bursts educational series at the Louisa County Library, 881 Davis Highway, Mineral. Course offerings include: GIG Economy – What it Means for Your Business at 11 a.m., Harnessing Personal Strengths for Business Growth at 3 p.m. Registration is required. Tastings Cookbook Club

The Tastings Cookbook Club will meet at 5:30 p.m. at Louisa County Library. The theme is Fresh From the Farmer’s Market. Every month after a theme is chosen, a selection of cookbooks are selected to be checked out. You will be able to select a book and prepare a recipe from that cookbook, then we all gather to share a potluck meal and recipes.

The Louisa County Library will present Goodlife Theater: Going Buggy at 10:30 a.m. Go abuzz with tales of creepy-crawly critters – insects! Stories from around the world feature puppets, masks, live music, dramatic play and lots of audience participation. The library is located at 881 Davis Hwy., Mineral.

Preschool Read & Rhyme Time is a fun program highlighting early literacy skills. Enjoy short books, rhymes, finger plays, a flannel story, and songs using shakers and rhythm instruments each Thursday at 10:30 a.m. Designed for ages 2 through 5 with an accompanying adult or caregiver.
