The 65th annual National Day of Prayer Community Prayer Service will be held at 12 p.m. on the Louisa courthouse lawn, led by community leaders, pastors and local citizens. In case of inclement weather, the service will be held at Louisa United Methodist Church.
Quit Smoking Louisa is a free support group where people can learn and experience different strategies for quitting smoking. Classes are free and will be held on Thursdays from 5 until 6 p.m. at the Betty J. Queen Center, 522 Industrial Drive, Louisa, though May 26.
