Family-owned and operated by a father and daughter, 250 East Auto Recycling is an auto salvage yard that is full of used vehicles and equipment.

Owners Gregory A. Plovish and Rebecca Hodges buy unwanted cars, trucks and equipment to provide parts that customers are looking for at an affordable price.

“We are always able to help them,” Hodges said. “Even if we don’t have the parts here at our location, we will locate them somewhere else. We will find it.”

250 East Auto Recycling also provides hauling services and accepts scrap metal and major household appliances to recycle.

“One of the best things about my business is that we recycle good vehicle parts from older vehicles. Customers reuse what isn’t trash,” Plovish said.

Plovish moved to Louisa more than 20 years ago to provide for his growing family, to live in warmer weather and to start his own business in this area, which he admired.
