Sharon Duke, also known as the “Louisa Land Lady,” has recently joined the real estate firm of William A. Cooke, LLC. in the town of Louisa.

The newest realtor at the long-time real estate company assists Randy Tingler, broker, with the real estate needs of clients.

Duke said she was honored when Tingler asked her to join the company.

“To offer both buyer and seller representation from William A. Cooke, LLC. brings so many favorable junctures,” said Duke.

She especially likes the fact that a percentage of sales goes to the William A. Cooke Foundation, which provides grants to numerous local organizations and project, as well as generous scholarships to students from Louisa and Orange counties.

“That makes me happy,” she said.

Well known in the real estate industry as someone who can get the job done, Duke has extensive expertise in the Louisa, Fluvanna and Albemarle real estate markets.

Buying or selling a home is one of the most important things you will ever do, says Duke, and she wants to help make that experience as smooth and successful as possible.

“I love working with people; the buyers, the sellers,” Duke said. “Getting to know my clients and helping them from start to finish is what makes me love my job. Driving around showing the properties is exciting.”
